Consultant and Project Manager, Nonprofit HR

Je’Nai Talley Jackson is a consultant and project manager for the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practice at Nonprofit HR, a consulting firm. She brings over 15 years of experience in the fields of education, youth development, and DEI. Her passion for youth development runs deep, including previous roles managing a GEAR UP Program (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) for middle and high school youth, facilitating an after-school mentorship program for girls, and providing technical assistance to youth development staff at local YMCAs all across the country through the YMCA of the USA. At the heart of everything she does is a focus on building connections with people and listening to all stakeholders’ voices. 

Je’Nai attended the University of Michigan, earning both her Master of Social Work and her Bachelor of Arts degree in African American and African Studies.  She is originally from Motown, so naturally, she is a lover of music.  She lives in Bronzeville with her husband and daughter.
