RYAN BLITSTEIN

Ryan Blitstein is an Executive Director in the Go-to-Market practice at Vista Equity Partners and a proud fourth-generation Chicagoan. He has held leadership roles across software, social innovation, and political organizations, and previously worked as an investigative reporter contributing to publications including The New York Times. Ryan's first side hustle was teaching guitar to kids and adults in New York City, and he currently serves on the Board of SCE, a foundation supporting youth digital well-being and learning. Ryan has been playing in bands in Chicago and both coasts for almost 30 years. At Stanford, he and a classmate created and co-taught a course on Bob Dylan. Ryan now writes and records with Dark Sky Islands, and loves sharing his passion for music with his three children. His favorite thing to do in the world is play live band karaoke.
